Welcome to our retro radios website.

We've assembled a variety of retro radio types to choose from, with differing brands of retro radio, as well as slightly differing product types, for instance retro car radios and retro style radio cd players. Ultimately we hope to cover all kinds of retro radios and radio cd players and we hope our site will help you find just the retro radio you are looking for.

Just a little background to our site. My wife often likes to have the TV on when she is cooking, but lately the signal has been poor to the TV in the kitchen, yet another one of those jobs I have been meaning to get around to. Anyway, in an attempt to take away the pressure to sort out the TV signal, she suggested that actually the TV was sometimes a little distracting from her cookery and maybe a better idea would be a small portable radio.

So began her search to find the perfect cream retro radio. Now my wife has excellent taste when it comes to decorating our home and filling it with nice things, all of which "go" just right with the room they are in. Best of all, she has a great eye for a bargain and always seems to know exactly what she wants. This (I believe and no offence intended) is a rare quality in a woman and one of the characteristics I love about her. (One of many I have to say!)

Anyway, we have a largely cream kitchen in which the radio was destined to blend and my wife embarked on a search to find just the radio she was looking for!

It occurred to me that it would have helped us enormously, had someone had the foresight to put together a site detailing some of the best brands and styles of radios, to make our search a little less arduous. Here's the result. Very much work in progress, but I am a great believer in putting something "out there" regardless of whether it is quite perfect or not and then improving as time allows.
